In prayer and with thankful hearts we look to God for all that we need and hope for.

During our Sunday service and in many of our groups and activities we take time to pray and encourage one another to pray in every aspect of our lives.  Prayer is vitally important and yet so many of us struggle with it.  We want to make it easier, not harder, to enjoy speaking with God in prayer.

Praise & Prayer

Sunday 1st December 7-8pm

This month, our theme is ‘Unto us‘.

Isaiah 9:6 says “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” We will be using these names of Jesus to guide our prayers – He is the prince of peace in the war-torn world including his own land of birth; He is the mighty God who is able to powerfully work through our Christmas outreach activities; and He is our wonderful counsellor when we personally need light and hope in this dark season.

As always, we will have lots of time to sing God’s praise and the opportunity to move around different prayer stations. We hope you will enjoy the time of quiet reflection under the Christmas lights, the potential to be creative, and the inspiration to pray for things you might not think of on your own. We look forward to seeing you there!
