Children and families play a big part in the life of Partick Trinity.

We are committed to creating space for exhausted parents and exhausting children to explore faith, worship God, serve together, and enjoy being part of a church family.

Messy Church

Messy Church is for all the family.  We spend time together exploring God’s big story and what it means for us.

We have fun doing crafts, baking, playing, and singing before sharing a delicious dinner together.

Messy Church is not currently meeting, however watch this space for future dates!

Church Weekend Away 14-16th June 2024

The emphasis of the weekend is on friendship and fun, with time to relax, food to eat, and coffee to drink. The centre is located near Kinross, about one hour’s drive from Glasgow. Details of the venue here: www.lendrickmuir.org.uk   We will arrange lifts for those who don’t have cars. Everyone is welcome.

Programme

  • Friday night – arrive after dinner, eat cake and chat (an evening meal will not be provided)
  • Saturday morning: time to worship, pray and learn during interactive teaching sessions led by a guest speaker. There will also be a programme for the young people during this time.
  • Saturday afternoon free time – optional activities at the centre for the adventurous, local outing, e.g. go to coffee shop /garden centre, or just hang around and watch others play
  • Saturday evening – quiz
  • Sunday – as per Saturday morning. Depart early afternoon.

Cost
The cost of the Weekend is approx. £124 per person (or £70 per day visitor), with children under 2 free. We invite those who can afford it to donate that much – or more – by Gift Aid if possible, so that others on lower incomes can contribute less. Don’t let the cost put you off, please still come and just contribute what you can, the church has already paid for the weekend!

A Deposit of £20 per person is required with booking – if possible, please transfer the money electronically to Partick Trinity Church, sort code: 82-64-21 Account number: 70407423; but cash could be accepted on a Sunday if clearly marked for the weekend away.
The rest of your donation will be accepted just before or during the weekend.

Booking
If you want to come, fill in this Booking Form and return it to afterhours@particktrinity.org.uk. Paper copies are available from Julie if required. Places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. We will try to accommodate preferences regarding sharing rooms and lower bunks (please indicate over), but we can’t guarantee this – it will depend on the number of people coming. Other more luxurious accommodation may be found in the locality but note our day visitor rates to cover costs of hiring the whole building for the weekend.
