From 17th-19th July, Partick Trinity hosted Superhero Academy Take 3 and Centre Point Summer Events.

Each morning children and families packed into the church for food, fun, crafts, music and stories.  We learned about three people from the bible who did amazing things not because they were especially strong or brave, but because they trusted an amazing God.

In the afternoon there were special guest appearances from Aquaman, Shazam, and Captain Marvel, as we learned about Jesus – the greatest superhero of all.

Centre Point Summer Events ran each evening: snacks, faith discussions and, of course, go-karting, laser-tag and finally an epic Nerf Wars battle!

An all-age team of committed volunteers supported the generosity and prayers of the congregation, made these events possible.  It was brilliant to see different people using their God-given gifts (whether admin, creativity, befriending, catering or whatever!) working together to serve our community.
