This project, located in a rural part of Uganda, has become very well known to the congregation through the involvement of our minister in teaching at Youth and Pastor training weeks, and also our member Anne Macfarlane who helped out at the Primary School over a period of over a year, and who makes return visits when other duties permit.
We pray for Gabriel and Deborah Kijambu who lead the project, and support them financially. This year, a team of 10 people in addition to our minister went to the Pastor’s conference in May, where the team provided a holiday club for the children of those attending – around 500 are thought to have attended over the 5 days!
We rejoice with Deborah and Gabriel in the birth of their daughter – Prisilla Precious – in early April, and pray that although born two months premature, the only one of triplets to survive, she will thrive and become a strong and healthy child.
